Logient Announces the Appointment of André Berger as Head of the Business Intelligence and Data Management Practice
The Logient team is proud to announce the appointment of André Berger to lead the business intelligence and data management practice, which is experiencing significant growth. A seasoned expert in the field, André will lead this division to better support our customers with their growing data needs.
Logient has many large-scale projects to its credit, all aimed at equipping its customers and providing maximum visibility of their data in order to take the best decisions for their business, through the implementation of state-of-art Business Intelligence solutions. Data management is a key pillar in Logient’s service offering.
This practice includes four areas of expertise:
- Business Intelligence, data visualization & reporting – to analyze the past, the present and the future
- Data analysis – to improve the present
- Architecture and data modeling – to organize the ecosystem
- Governance, security & business strategy – to make sure that everything is going in the right direction
André is the perfect individual to take on the management of this division. Following his studies in criminology, André spent 10 years working as a researcher, and it was then that he developed a deep passion for data. He went on to study Business Intelligence and perfected his expertise throughout his 20-year long career. André worked as a business analyst and data specialist for well-known telecommunication, technology and consulting service companies. More recently, he served as Director BI/AI Consultant at CGI.

As Principal Director, Data Management and Analytics, André will boost Logient’s BI offering, focused on conscientious customer support. “What motivates me is the act of leveraging the power of data to guide our clients’ strategic priorities and to ensure their sustainable growth.” André will also be responsible for growing Logient’s team of BI experts to better meet client needs and support their growth with proper data solutions.
If André decided to join Logient, it is primarily because he is motivated by the challenge of embarking in new adventures. “I’m always trying to gain new knowledge and I continuously monitor technological developments. I noticed that there were multiple large-scale projects at Logient where the BI potential is exponential.” He adds: “And ultimately, it’s for the team. It’s a team that has a strong desire to grow, a team that will challenge me, and there’s always novelty and creativity emerging from this kind of mindset. That’s why I joined the team. »
