Logient begins its international expansion with the acquisition of Bulldozer Inc.
Montreal, January 19, 2022 — Logient, a leader in the development of digital and technological solutions for businesses, continues its growth with the acquisition of the development firm Bulldozer, which operates offices in Quebec and Tunis. The transaction is part of Logient’s strategy to increase its revenues to $50 million by 2026. At the same time, it allows Logient to partner with highly qualified local and international talents.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we entered into the agreement with Bulldozer, which has many achievements and considerable expertise in the development of digital solutions and custom software”, declaresMr.Vincent Godcharles, President and Chief Executive Officer at Logient. “Our service offerings and our DNA are very similar. This new proximity will allow us to increase our ability to meet the growing demands of our customers. The transaction is also an opportunity to establish ourselves in the Quebec City market, where Logient already has a customer base, while contributing to our international development strategy.”
Mr. Mathieu Lespérance, President of Bulldozer, explains for his part that “for Bulldozer, joining Logient was quite natural. The IT market is experiencing a severe shortage of resources and by coming together we are able to access an even larger pool of qualified employees. Logient has carried out numerous transactions in recent years and is renowned for its ability to integrate external teams thanks to a very human and close corporate culture. It gave us confidence. We share the same values of authenticity, simplicity and collaboration in daily business.”
Beyond ambitious growth targets, Mr. Godcharles says the Bulldozer acquisition,“makes it possible to access high-quality talent and expertise on two continents. In a context of a talent shortage, we are preparing for the future and making sure we can meet the needs of our clients more effectively. Since Bulldozer has offices in Quebec and Tunisia, it is now possible to carry out projects over a period longer than the North American time zones. This transaction allows us to increase the overall offer to our customers, both in terms of capacity and delivery times, and in terms of the quality of expertise.”
Logient announced in September 2021 its acquisition by Vincent Godcharles and Oliva Capital and this union layed the foundations to build a very promising future. The union with Bulldozer is part of this ambitious growth plan. Logient plans to continue its international expansion through other investments in the near future.
