Logient is pleased to announce the appointment of Gabrielle Comtois as Vice President, Finance. A seasoned manager and CPA, Gabrielle has joined the Logient team and will be responsible for the management of the finance department as well as the company’s sound financial performance. She will also support the President and CEO, Vincent Godcharles, in his growth plan which includes the acquisition of companies. Over the next 5 years, she will participate with the executive team in the achievement of the company’s objective to reach a turnover of $50M.

Gabrielle has a proven track record of success. Prior to joining Logient, she worked at Ernst & Young in Assurance until 2014, the last three years as a team leader. She then continued her career as VP Finance at Fix Network, a global franchise network in the automotive aftermarket.  It is through these different work experiences that she discovered a real interest in the field of corporate acquisitions and her passion for the entrepreneurial sector.

«I love working directly with entrepreneurs. For me, it’s an ideal coaching and consulting environment. A growing company led by a visionary offers me the opportunity to build a strategic framework and to act in a very tactical mode by putting one’s shoulder to the wheel», explains Gabrielle. Logient recently announced that it was joining Oliva Capital to provide financial growth support in the years to come. The all-Quebec transaction emphasized the importance of preserving the company’s entrepreneurial culture.

Why join the Logient family? To work with dedicated people, a close-knit team and an employer that cares about putting talent first. As a highly committed professional, this is the type of company Gabrielle was looking for. She also wanted a fit, in terms of values. «From the very first day, I immediately felt like I was part of the clan. We share the same values of inclusiveness» explains the new recruit.

Gabrielle was also looking for a challenge that would match her ambitions. When she was told about solidifying the company’s financial structure and helping Logient take its business to the next level, she knew she had found what she was looking for.

Good luck Gabrielle and most importantly, welcome home!
